Family Ranch Camp at Timber Creek is a hands-on, memory-making week built for parents and kids to experience ranch life together.

This isn’t intense cowboy school. It’s approachable, safe, and built around fun, learning, and time outside.

You’ll help with simple ranch chores, meet the animals, ride horses, explore wide open country, and end your days around a campfire.

This is the complete Timber Creek experience — where every sunrise brings purpose, and every evening ends with laughter around the fire. You’ll saddle up and help move the herd across 20,000 acres of Idaho range, keeping cattle on good grass and learning what it means to work as part of a team.

It’s not a staged experience — it’s real ranch life, shared with people who love it.

Morning Briefing

Meet the team, learn the plan for the day, and get paired with your horse for the ride ahead.

Saddle Up

Head to the corral, choose your horse, and settle into the saddle with guided instruction for every experience level.

Trail Ride

Ride out through the backcountry, checking the herd, moving cattle, and learning the practical skills of ranch life.

Cattle Work
