Five full days of hands-on instruction where you’ll learn how to move cattle, rope with purpose, sort in the pen, doctor calves, and understand livestock the way working ranchers do.

This is the complete Timber Creek experience — where every sunrise brings purpose, and every evening ends with laughter around the fire. You’ll saddle up and help move the herd across 20,000 acres of Idaho range, keeping cattle on good grass and learning what it means to work as part of a team.

It’s not a staged experience — it’s real ranch life, shared with people who love it.

Ranch Breakfast

Wake to the smell of coffee, the cool morning air, and a hearty ranch breakfast as the sun climbs over the mountains.

7:30 AM

Morning Briefing

Meet the team, learn the plan for the day, and get paired with your horse for the ride ahead.

8:00 AM

Saddle Up

Head to the corral, choose your horse, and settle into the saddle with guided instruction for every experience level.

Trail Ride

Ride out through the backcountry, checking the herd, moving cattle, and learning the practical skills of ranch life.

Physicality:
This is an active experience. You’ll be working outdoors, in the saddle, and on your feet.

Experience Level:
All levels welcome. Beginners will be taught fundamentals. Those with experience will be pushed.

Gear:
Boots, jeans, work gloves, and a willingness to learn are required. A detailed packing list will be provided after booking.
